Entrepreneur’s Talk Show

BSE Visit The ISEC Department of GNIMS and GNIMS Business School organized an Entrepreneurship Talk Show featuring notable entrepreneurs Mr. Shishir Jog (P.S. Auto Pvt Ltd), Mr. Jaydeep Shah (Tip Top Plaza), and Mr. Jayant Gangal (Shree Bakery and Confectioners). MMS, PGDM and MCA First year students attended the session (200 students). The event opened with an introduction and addresses by Directors Dr. Satvinder Singh Bedi and Dr. Jasbir Kaur, emphasizing entrepreneurship as a career path.    The speakers shared their journeys, discussing how they expanded their businesses, overcame challenges, and balanced personal passions with professional responsibilities. Aman Pal Name of Faculty Co-ordinator: Dr. Gagan Jatinder Singh Bhatia On 16th October 2024, PGDM T1 (24-26) students, visited Bombay Exchange (BSE) for an event named Investisiya 2024 conducted by ANMI.    Thes session conducted was regarding investor awareness regarding Capital Markets which deals in Commodities, Equity and Debt markets. The speakers emphasised on due diligence before investing to prevent Frauds and Scams.   According to the speakers, there is a need to diversify the portfolio to overcome risks. Sectors mentioned in the seminar were India’s Logistics, Infrastructure and Renewable Energy Sectors, for upcoming years.   The event was very informative & students came to know several things about capital markets.

Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas)

Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) GNIMS and GNIMS B School celebrated National Constitution Day on November 26, 2024, to promote awareness of the Indian Constitution. Preamble Reading: Students participated in a ceremonial reading of the Preamble, emphasizing its core principles. Core Value Discussions: Discussions focused on the Constitution’s core values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. It highlighted the significance of the Constitution and the contributions of key figures, particularly Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Online Quiz: An interactive quiz tested students’ knowledge of the Indian Constitution. HR Field visit to Godrej DEI Lab

HR Field visit to Godrej DEI Lab GNIMS Team of Second year HR  MMS students visited the Godrej DEI Lab today attending an event titled India’s Queer Futures .The program started with a panel discussion which had Head DEI Parmesh Shahani and Keshav Suri from The Lalit to Chandni Parayan Bangalore to the first transgender doctor Dr Afsa to Maya Sharma from Vikalp foundation to Radhika Piramal Chairperson VIP Industries.The panel discussion highlighted the challenges of the transgender community and need for funding for community development.This was followed by talk by Supreme Court lawyer and kathak dance recital.Tge students who shall be future HR professionals were sensitised to  facilitate Diversity Equity Inclusion in their organisation.All students did enjoy the last part the blue themed snacks .

She highlighted how ‘Legacy Reloaded’ represents the fusion of traditional knowledge with AI-driven innovations, ensuring a smarter, data-driven future while preserving the wisdom of the past.   Dr. Satvinder Singh Bedi ( Director, GNIMS) addressed the audience, highlighting the growing significance of AI and its impact on shaping future leaders. He emphasized how AI-driven insights and advanced analytics are transforming industries, enabling businesses to stay competitive and make data-driven decisions. He also stressed the importance of adapting to these technological advancements to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape Chief Guest Mr. Gaurav Vats compared student growth to that of a Bamboo plant, which first develops strong roots underground before growing above the surface. He emphasized that just like sugarcane, students must build a solid foundation in their fundamentals before aiming for higher success. He also highlighted the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), stressing their transformative impact on industries. The champions of the Tech Chanakya IT Fest 2025 and the proud holders of the rolling trophy were Universal MSG-SGKM College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Ghatkopar.
