Guest Lecture on “The Emerging Business Paradigms in the Automobile Sector” A Guest Lecture on “The Emerging Business Paradigms in the Automobile Sector” was organized for the FYBMS Batch 2025–2028 on 25th November 2025. The session was conducted by Yashovardhan Bichu,CEO, Messrs Landmark Cars – Mercedes Benz, who shared valuable industry insights and practical knowledge about the evolving automobile sector. During the session, students were introduced to emerging trends such as electric vehicles, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in automobiles, luxury automobile branding, customer experience management, and changing business models in the automotive industry. The speaker also highlighted the importance of innovation, adaptability, leadership, and continuous learning in today’s competitive corporate environment. The lecture was highly interactive and informative, with students actively participating in the discussion and question-and-answer session. The guest lecture provided students with a better understanding of current industry practices and future opportunities in the automobile sector, making it a highly enriching learning experience for all participants.

One Day Field Trip

Educational Trip – One Day Field Trip Report Date of Visit: 18th November 2025 Place: Educational Trip to Juice Adventure Park, Uttan On 18th November 2025, the FY BMS students visited Juice Adventure Park, Uttan, as part of a college-organised educational and recreational field trip. The objective of the visit was to provide students with experiential learning beyond the classroom and to encourage teamwork, communication, cooperation, and confidence-building through participation in adventure and recreational activities. The trip also aimed to provide students with relaxation and refreshment from their regular academic schedule.   The journey began early in the morning, with students travelling together by bus. The atmosphere throughout the journey was lively and energetic, as students actively participated in music, singing, dance, and group interactions. The travel experience itself helped students strengthen friendships, improve communication, and develop a spirit of unity and togetherness. The excitement and enthusiasm shown by the students created a cheerful environment from the very beginning of the trip.   Upon reaching Juice Adventure Park, the students were warmly welcomed by the park staff. A detailed briefing session was conducted to explain the safety rules, activity procedures, and important guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Students were then divided into groups for smooth coordination and participation in the activities organised by the park.   The essays demonstrated students knowledge, creativity, and command over the language. Winners of respective competition were announced in the evening at the end of the program.   The park offered a variety of adventure and recreational activities, including shooting games, bungee jumping, pool games, and other fun-filled group activities. Students enthusiastically participated in all the activities and displayed great excitement and sportsmanship throughout the day. These activities encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones and helped improve their confidence, participation skills, and decision-making abilities. Group-based activities also promoted teamwork, coordination, cooperation, and mutual support among students.   The pool and water activities were among the most enjoyable parts of the visit. Students actively participated in water games and recreational sessions, which created a fun and refreshing atmosphere. These shared experiences helped strengthen social bonding and interpersonal relationships among students.   The food arrangements at the park were well appreciated, as the meals served were tasty and satisfying. Overall, the educational trip to Juice Adventure Park proved to be a memorable and meaningful experience for the FY BMS students. The visit successfully combined recreation with learning and contributed to the personal, social, and emotional development of the students.

Marathi Bhasha Divas

Marathi Bhasha Diva मराठी भाषा दिवस 2026 अहवाल गुरु नानक इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ मॅनेजमेंट स्टडीज बी-स्कूल येथे २७ फेब्रुवारी २०२६ रोजी मराठी भाषा दिवस मोठ्या उत्साहात आणि विद्यार्थी तसेच प्राध्यापकांच्या सक्रिय सहभागासह साजरा करण्यात आला. मराठी भाषा, साहित्य आणि संस्कृतीची समृद्ध परंपरा जपण्यासाठी तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या मातृभाषेबद्दल अभिमान आणि सर्जनशीलता व्यक्त करण्यासाठी या कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.   या कार्यक्रमासाठी प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून श्री. शिरीष वागमोडे यांना आमंत्रित करण्यात आले होते.या उत्सवाच्या निमित्ताने विविध स्पर्धा आणि सांस्कृतिक उपक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. “पोस्टर प्रयोग” नावाची पोस्टर स्पर्धा आयोजित करण्यात आली होती, ज्यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांनी मराठी भाषेचे महत्त्व, प्रसिद्ध मराठी व्यक्तिमत्त्वे आणि सांस्कृतिक वारसा यांवर आधारित आकर्षक व माहितीपूर्ण पोस्टर्स तयार केली. या पोस्टर्समधून विद्यार्थ्यांची कलात्मकता आणि प्रभावी सामाजिक संदेश दिसून आले.   कविता लेखन स्पर्धेमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांना संस्कृती, ऐक्य, निसर्ग आणि भाषेचा अभिमान अशा विषयांवर स्वतःच्या मराठी कविता सादर करून साहित्यिक कौशल्य दाखवण्याची संधी मिळाली. सहभागी विद्यार्थ्यांनी अर्थपूर्ण आणि भावपूर्ण कविता सादर केल्या, ज्यांचे परीक्षक आणि प्रेक्षकांनी कौतुक केले.   निबंध लेखन स्पर्धेचेही आयोजन करण्यात आले होते, ज्यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांनी मराठी साहित्य, प्रादेशिक भाषांचे महत्त्व आणि समाजातील मराठी संस्कृतीचे योगदान या विषयांवर आपले विचार व्यक्त केले. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या निबंधांमधून त्यांचे ज्ञान, सर्जनशीलता आणि भाषेवरील प्रभुत्व स्पष्टपणे दिसून आले.   कार्यक्रमाच्या शेवटी संध्याकाळी विविध स्पर्धांतील विजेत्यांची घोषणा करण्यात आली.या उत्सवामुळे तरुण पिढीत मराठी भाषा जपण्याबाबत आणि तिचा प्रसार करण्याबाबत जागरूकता निर्माण झाली. विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतल्यामुळे हा कार्यक्रम माहितीपूर्ण, सर्जनशील आणि सांस्कृतिकदृष्ट्या समृद्ध ठरला. सर्व सहभागी आणि विजेत्यांचे कौतुक करून कार्यक्रमाची सांगता करण्यात आली आणि हा दिवस गुरु नानक इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ मॅनेजमेंट स्टडीज बी-स्कूल मधील सर्वांसाठी संस्मरणीय ठरला. Marathi Bhasha Divas 2026 Report Guru Nanak Institute Of Management Studies B-School celebrated Marathi Bhasha Divas on 27th February 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The event was organized to honour the richness of the Marathi language, literature, and culture while encouraging students to express their creativity and appreciation for their mother tongue.   Chief guest: Shri Shirish Wagmode was invited to be a part of this day. Several competitions and cultural activities were conducted as part of the celebration. A Poster Competition named Poster Prayog was organized where students designed creative and informative posters highlighting the importance of the Marathi language, famous Marathi personalities, and cultural heritage. The posters reflected artistic talent and strong social messages.   The Poem Writing Competition gave students an opportunity to showcase their literary skills by composing original Marathi poems on themes such as culture, unity, nature, and language pride. Participants presented meaningful and expressive poems that were appreciated by the judges and audience. An Essay Writing Competition was also conducted to encourage students to express their thoughts on topics related to Marathi literature, the significance of regional languages, and the contribution of Marathi culture to society.   The essays demonstrated students knowledge, creativity, and command over the language. Winners of respective competition were announced in the evening at the end of the program.   The celebration successfully created awareness about preserving and promoting the Marathi language among the younger generation. Students participated enthusiastically, making the event informative, creative, and culturally enriching. The program concluded with appreciation for all participants and winners, making the celebration a memorable experience for everyone at Guru Nanak Institute Of Management Studies B-School.

Induction Day

Induction Day BMS (Batch 2025-2028) Report – Induction Day Inauguration The Induction Programme for the BMS Batch 2025–2028 at GNIMS Business School was organized to familiarize students with the academic environment, institutional culture, and opportunities available during their undergraduate journey. The programme aimed to help students transition smoothly from school to higher education while building confidence and clarity about their academic path.   The formal inauguration of the programme was held on 17th October 2025 at the GNIMS Campus Multipurpose Hall. The event began with prayers and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by addresses by Dr. Satvinder Singh Bedi, Director of GNIMS; Dr. Jasbir Kaur, Director of GNIMS B School and Head of IT and HR; and Chief Guest Erander Singh Tak, Partner – Digital Transformation at Persistent Systems. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, after which students attended a library orientation and guided campus tour.   The academic induction sessions were conducted from 27th October to 31st October 2025. The programme commenced with sessions by Prof. Praveish Aiyer on Indian Management Thoughts and Practices and Indian Knowledge Systems, introducing students to India’s managerial heritage and its relevance in modern business and society.   On the second day, Dr. Shivaprasad Murugan conducted a session titled BMS Road Head, where students were briefed on the curriculum structure, evaluation methods, academic expectations, and career opportunities associated with the BMS programme. Dr. Kuljeet Kaur also introduced students to the library resources and digital learning facilities available at the institute.   The third day focused on management skill development. Dr. Harpreet Kaur conducted a session on Business Communication and its Applications in Management, emphasizing the importance of communication skills in professional settings. This was followed by a session by Prof. Rahul Chopra on Marketing Management, where students were introduced to basic marketing concepts and current industry trends.   The programme also included wellness and recreational activities to encourage student engagement and holistic development. Students participated in Zumba, indoor games, and yoga sessions coordinated by Shivani Khole and Prof. Balvinder Singh Reel. The induction concluded with a session by Mrs. Sarita Jha on the implementation of NEP 2020 in the BMS programme.   Overall, the programme successfully combined academic orientation, skill enhancement, and wellness activities, providing students with a positive and confident beginning to their academic journey at GNIMS Business School.
